The course is designed for those who hold a high school diploma and wish to pursue a professional path in vehicle engineering and motorsport. There are no age limits: the only requirement is a passion for cars and the willingness to commit to a serious learning journey.
The programme runs over three academic years, has a limited intake (maximum 30 students) and requires mandatory attendance. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays dedicated to specific subjects. This structure ensures an intensive path that combines theoretical education with hands-on classroom and laboratory activities.
The study plan begins with the fundamentals of mechanics, mathematics and technical drawing, before moving on to aerodynamics, CAD, prototyping and nanotechnologies.
In the following years, students focus on internal combustion engines, hybrid vehicles, electronics and machine design. The third year looks to the future, with modules on virtual reality, reverse engineering, carbon fibre design and workplace safety.
Graduates find opportunities in automotive design centres, technical offices, research and development departments of car manufacturers, and motorsport teams.
ISSAM offers financial support through its partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo. Thanks to the “Per Merito” loan, students can cover enrolment fees, learning materials and accommodation costs, with no personal guarantees required. Repayment is flexible and can extend over long periods, up to 30 years, under favourable conditions for students.

The programme runs over three academic years, has a limited intake (maximum 30 students) and requires mandatory attendance. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays dedicated to specific subjects. This structure allows theory, hands-on exercises and the use of professional software to come together, replicating the dynamics of a real design centre.
The study plan starts with subjects such as styling techniques, visual perception and ergonomics, then moves on to rendering, colour & trim and design history.
It continues with 3D CAD, advanced and virtual design, motorcycle design and body architecture. The final year focuses on the most advanced technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, reverse engineering and carbon fibre design.
Graduates find opportunities in automotive design centres, design companies and engineering studios. The skills acquired enable them to work on vehicle interiors and exteriors, colour & trim development, rendering and advanced modelling.
