The course is designed for those who hold a high school diploma and want to pursue a professional path in vehicle design. There are no age limits: the only requirements are a passion for cars and the commitment to follow a serious learning journey.
The programme runs over three academic years, has a limited intake (maximum 30 students) and requires mandatory attendance. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays dedicated to specific subjects. This structure allows theory, hands-on exercises and the use of professional software to come together, replicating the dynamics of a real design centre.
The study plan starts with subjects such as styling techniques, visual perception and ergonomics, moving on to rendering, colour & trim and design history.
It then continues with 3D CAD, advanced and virtual design, motorcycle design and body architecture. The final year focuses on the most advanced technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, reverse engineering and carbon fibre design.
Graduates of the programme find opportunities in automotive design centres, design companies and engineering studios. The skills acquired enable them to work on vehicle interiors and exteriors, colour & trim development, rendering and advanced modelling.
ISSAM offers financial support opportunities through its partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo. Thanks to the “Per Merito” loan, students can cover enrolment fees, learning materials and accommodation costs, with no personal guarantees required.
